Judge Kani Hightower's experience with the public and in private Iaw has prepared her well for the Summit County Domestic Relations Court.

 

Hightower has been a Magistrate at Akron Municipal Court since January 2020 and also works as a private attorney. She was an adjunct professor at the University of Akron Law School for a decade. For nearly fourteen years, Hightower has been a trial attorney with Lynda Harvey Williams & Associates LLC, often representing indigent clients. Prior to that, she served the public as a Clerk of Council. Magistrate Hightower knows the meaning of hard work.
